Beginner needle felting class offered for Free Saturday 11/9 I have 6 spaces available for my Enchanted Garden needle felting class in Russell, MA 11/9 from 1 - 3:30pm. This class is fully funded by the MA Cultural Council and will be offered to participants at no cost. All materials and tools will be provided. Spots will be filled in the order received.
Two Saturdays:
(part 1) Oct 19, 10am - 1pm (part 2) Oct 26, 10am - 1pm Location: Northampton Center for the Arts @ 33 Hawley Street Northampton, MA - Eli's Room (downstairs). Cost: $150 - all materials included During this fun two-day class, you will learn the basics of needle felting while sculpting a whimsical sheep. The course covers making a wire armature based on a simple drawing, selecting the correct type of wool for your project and explores a variety of felting techniques. You will learn how to place glass eyes, make ears and face details and create the curly pelt. While this class is designed for those with some previous needle felting experience, most beginners quickly pick up the skills required to successfully complete the project. I will provide all materials including wool, wire, glass eyes and tools. Bring your own felting mat if you have one. Felting needles are included with the material kit - extra needles will be available for purchase for $2 each. Space is limited to 10 students Monster Arts Project Show 10/5 - 11/3
